The lesser i work with a pc, the more errors,virus, etc i just accidently made.

hmm...

i just tried to re-installed Half-Life. I know this is a General Forum, couldnt tell either I write this in CS forum or HL forum, so whatever.

Anyways, this shows up when the installer goes to 99%;

File Name : VWIN32(05)  +  00000BF4   Error: OE : 0028 COZA3DCC

sometimes the more errors comes up, the more chance ill die from a stroke  

 

arggghhh...

b.t.w...g.o.t...d.i.r.e.c.t..x..8.0..,c.o.u.l.d...t.h.a.t...e.f.f.e.c.t...t.h.a.t...?

or scandisk not work after the 10th time = cant fix error?
or virusscan keep re-installing auto = virus detected?

Try Scan disk then Defrag or possibly the Directory was corrupted try installing somewhere else. Did you ever go through with your reformat? If nothing else call up the company you got it from and see if your waranty is still good or if you get any tech support.
