The fatigue seems like it will just encourage you to try out other classes as well. It could be beneficial, depends on how they implement it.

So I have been trying to be a bit more aggressive early game, even if I only have 2 or 3 units, and it seems to be working. Also getting at least a weapon upgrade early on seems to help. It is harder to attack that early but it teaches me to micro a little bit better.
