Well, I might retract my previous statement a bit. I am surprised at how much your stats change between levels now. Sure I'm up to 85k hps and 58k mana, but my spells cost exponentially more and my mana regen is not scaling well with my new mana levels (both base amount and cost per cast)...

I was just reading the wow forums, and found quite a bit of priest QQ about healing. I do feel I'm a decent healer, and I definitely agree that healing in cata is MUCH different than before, but I like it, and it's very possible if you pay attention to the meticulous nature of healing in cata...

My last exam is done, my last paper is turned in. I have until January to play me some cata.. Of course, launcher is still being a bummer and continuing to tell avg that it's malware. I uninstalled wow and am doing a fresh install using my cata disk.. Why does this have to take so stinkin...

I've been on my ups and downs from the game.. it's finals week for the quarter so I might pick up cata to play for a few weeks. I don't think I could ever delete my characters though, that was painful to watch.

I should mention I have a decently geared (for his time) 70 lock on Terenas that I'm going to fool around with to see if I even like playing him anymore, then I might transfer him over. That might make a difference in spec..

What's a good leveling spec for locks now? I always played affliction in BC...

Yeah probably, my most solid raiding toon on Terenas was a lock. Once you get around 50ish and can effectively use affliction, it becomes it's own character. Before that you're mostly grinding with shadowbolts and it's noting more than a firemage with less fun stuff.

What's the new soul shard system?

Locks are very fun, might be my next toon. I also have alto-holism.. I love leveling <shrug>
