How do you feel about "physician-assisted suicide"?

I'm saying 2 things -Just cos you believe it's wrong doesn't mean you should make it illegal for everyone else -Don't bite off more than you can chew. If you know you can't, dont. Just some context, maybe I'm a weakling, but can't even stand up for a few minutes when I have a terrible cold...

How do you feel about "physician-assisted suicide"?

Ok this view may not be very biblical, but you are putting your religious views above the child's rights. Which may make more sense than passing their children through the fire for baal because ours is the 'real' religion, but it's still taking and adversely impacting a life that is not your...

How do you feel about "physician-assisted suicide"?

This really disturbs me: As noble the intention is, NO ONE should think it is their right to treat their children as property. Sacrificing the good of their children for their own religious views, however noble, cannot be condoned. No one should suffer just because of their parents' political...

How do you feel about "physician-assisted suicide"?

An alternative is to get me hooked up on morphene and other pain relief meds, anesthesia to put me to sleep, and then withdraw treatment and wait to die. However we don't know if people in that state actually suffer. In fact a few of them reported that 'it didn't work and I could still feel my...

How do you feel about "physician-assisted suicide"?

I think preserving human dignity and alleviating suffering is more important than preserving a life the patient does not want. I want to be able to make that decision for myself. No one except me, suffering on my deathbed with no hope of recovery, has a right to decide.

    Judgment Day - May 21, 2011

Well but is it true that the end is EVEN FARTHER now than it was 2000 years ago, now that we live in a much better world without so much of the genocide and humanitarian disasters even the 'good' king David and Solomon commited? How can one put an entire city to the sword and still be...

How do you feel about "physician-assisted suicide"?

Well it may not be the right thing to do, but sometimes the price is just too high. If it's to commit one last sin (assuming that it is) or suffer for months, one must be suffering for months to make that decision.

Why I am leaving PC gaming...

I agree it's expensive... no one minds my $14.95 a month and computer upgrades/changes every now and then but I come from a small family. If my parents were poorer and had 4 children, there would certainly be issues. *one of the reasons why I advocate smaller families but not gona go offtopic...

How do you feel about "physician-assisted suicide"?

http://www.christiansforve.org.au/ Sums up my views. Keywords TERMINAL ILLNESS, entirely voluntary, no one but the patient should decide. It's easy to take the moral high ground now and call all people for this murderers. However when it's my time to go (for those that remember, now I'm having...

But he does describe the signs of the end times. And false prophets such as these just proves 'it is near', but it has always been near. We just don't know when EXACTLY it will happen. It has always been 'near' since 2000 years ago. But I know it's not 'near near' since the disasters, big...

    Judgment Day - May 21, 2011

Oh kay. So how are we going to know if someone screaming the world ends in 10 years really had a revelation? We can't wait 10 years and then grab our pitchforks... verbally of course. It's not just because false prophets deserve a good trashng, but more to prevent more people from believing...

Well I think it's worth my time cos not every false prophet has millions of followers and collected $70m in donations. Now he said it's postponed till 21st oct. I think my interest just wore out. Not going to wait that long. Suffice to say, crazy old fool.

Apparently he's now refusing to answer the door and no lights are on at his place. Journalists are unable to interview him. Hoping he says something soon, my attention does not last long and I actually have WORK to do on Monday. Not spending another day in my room hitting f5 on his page and...

    Swearing appropriately in stories.

ON THE ORIGINAL SUBJECT: That would depend if it's first person or third person. If I'm writing a memoir then no, but if I'm writing a book in a pseudo first person narrative about a mafia boss for instance (what is it doing here I wonder), don't think it can be avoided. ON SWEARING IN GENERAL:
