I belive it's steam only. Warcraft 3 runs without issues (although it doesn't use much 3d accelerator) I've tried halo pc and it runs fine. Formatting did no help, so I guess it's Steam... Any other suggestions? and curse steam.

Update: Fast write is off, don't know if tehre are much performance gain, but knowing my RAM might be the bandwidth bottle neck, i might upgrade it to dual channel ddr 400. any suggestions?

Yes every thing you mentioned I've tried. Why would i do that, when i used to get 100 fps... its at fps_max 101 right now. It doesn't do much anyways. Yes, left it stock settings also, same ole same ole. I think i'll try the fast write feature. turning it on/off.

Cresh is jus like that cuz i out-grew him and gained actual "skill" so he has no meatshield right now. ( I STILL REMEMBER THAT CS_ASSAULT2k where you had me in the front as a usp bullet meatshield and you shooting them behind me with a dualie >:| )

since motherboard had a swolen caps aparenlty its best to change it, that'll also mean u need a new power supply, but i think it won't have anything to do with cpu, hopefully not.

Asus/Abit/Gigabyte are proly the best way. I'm more of an Asus fan, but from my friends' opinion, Abit/gigabyte are still high quality plus reliable, though i believe abit's are especially pricy :/
