Does CGA get money from things purchased from Amazon itself only, or do purchases from third-party sellers count, too?

My pre-ordered copy of Etrian Odyssey Untold 2: The Fafnir Knight arrived yesterday, and I just started playing it. :D And apparently the price went down at some point after the pre-order? Amazon sent me an e-mail saying they refunded $1 (plus $0.07 for tax). I'll take it! :p
