Probably because of your last name. It's a different last name. When people see my last name, which is "ERRICHIELLO", they ask me what my nationality is. Some people are curious to know, that's all.

Well, just like phasetim said - get a twig or stick and beat the tree. Then apologize and hug it! No harm, no foul! Everyone walks away happy...except for the twig that probably got the brunt of the abuse. But it fell off for a reason, so I'd just take advantage of that.

Get at least 5 rounds in, and if you really want to be smart about it don't make any accusations or say anything about it. That way you can truly get a demo of the person without them being privy to it and they end up leaving or turning their hacks off.
