Info on next class pack and new content patch...

I had the stuttering issue back when I had my old computer. I fixed much of it by increasing the default memory allocated to the game. Add the -heapsize [Kilobytes] launch option to indicate how much memory you want to allocate to the game. More information about it here...

I just finished a game with the new patch. It is more difficult for survivors. That being said, they may have slightly reduced the amount of common infected that attack after a boomer spew or car alarm. It seemed less to me anyway, but I can't say for sure.

Have you tried raising the gamma to compensate? (Either in game or via the video card control panel.)

You can usually go into the advanced video card settings/properties via the control panel in Windows and change the full-screen 3D graphic brightness.

The same thing happened to me. I was going to play a game with some people, but the game filled up before I got there. I exited the game and also got the "Outbreak" achievement. Odd!

That is annoying. I also hate it when you are hit with melee mid-vomit and it basically cancels the spew.

There was talk of maybe having a private TF2 scrim forum? Is that still the plan? If so, we should discuss what classes each person is going to play within.

I've played a few scrims and the gameplay has a different feel. It can be intense. The key thing is to stay together; move from point to point together. Protect the single medic, uber is important. Stay near the turret and dispenser if on defense. Single player heroics will get everyone...
