I have stuck with the last version that could be downloaded and installed directly (1.9.42.491). I have had no trouble with it at all.

Also available through the WowAce Updater. Scroll down to the mods not installed and select it. Then choose "Install/Update Marked Addons With Externals" from the "File" menu. Be sure to delete CraftBot from your interface/addons menu so you do not have competing mods.

Another possibility would be your antivirus program. Mine also watches for registry changes and sometimes I miss it asking if I will allow it to make that change and it messes up whatever program I have recently installed or am installing.
