Sorry about last night. I really don't like the whole auto-saving feature of Blizz's. Kinda stinks when someone runs in before the RL and you get saved to that run. I at least know now to wait and be one of the last to go in to make sure it is the correct run.

Actually, we do have a HoT, Riptide, although it's not as strong as a druid's or priests HoT. It is still pretty useful though. As for diseases, we can cleanse poisons and diseases w/o totems and if you spec into it, curses as well, just not magic.

I use Smart Debuff for healing and decursing. I found it easier to setup than HealBot but it has plenty of mouse button+ctrl/alt/shift healing setups for me on my healer. Guess there are lots of options out there. Just find what you like.

When gearing for 25-man raids, MP5 is not as important as so many classes give mana back and usually there is another shaman or 2 so all the mana totems stack. Just remember something about shadowmeld, it is not a threat reduction like fade (priest), vanish (rogue) or invis (mage). Once you come out of shadowmeld, all your threat comes back. At least that is what the tooltip says.
