    Burnout: Paradise on the PC

My son and I got Burnout: Paradise for the PC for Christmas. We are loving it! Anyone here play the game? If so, I would love to get together for multiplayer. My Steam name is Jabberwocky. Just add me to your friends list and send me a message so we can setup a time that works for both of us.

    Unreal Tournament 3 for $3.99

Thanks for the response. That is good to know. Since I just introduced my son to UT2004 and I don't see a huge difference in the game play (from the videos I have watched) I may just hold off for now and enjoy what we have. I think I like the brighter color pallet of UT2004, too.

    Unreal Tournament 3 for $3.99

I see that Unreal Tournament 3: Black is on sale for $3.99 at Gamersgate (for next 12 hours) and $4.99 on Steam (ends Jan 2nd). My 12yr old son and I have been having a blast with UT 2004 lately and it looks like you can turn off mature taunts and "reduce gore" in UT3, too. Question #1: Has...

    Local Coop Games

Be forewarned that the game is not self-explanatory, the game is still in production, and you will want to download mods to proper enjoy it. Watch some videos if you can. That is what finally made the game click for me.

    Local Coop Games

My 12yr old son and I love playing Cortex Command local co-op (you can't play co-op any other way). I would watch footage before buying it to make sure it is age appropriate. It has a cartoony feel, but guys blow up into bloody bits.

Tek, glad to hear our site was helpful. I pulled the trigger on this. my son and I have been having a blast with Jamestown and Bit.Trip Runner. Looking forward to trying out Gratuitous Space Battles. We went ahead and beat the average. Jamestown alone made it worth it. BTW, if you guys have...

Not sure, but I doubt it. However, I have not used Amazon's service before, so not sure how it works. I just can't get over the price.

    Dungeon Defenders for $2.99

Hi Guys, I am not sure how much longer it will be on sale, but if you have not picked up this great game, do yourself a favor and grab it from Amazon while it is less than the price of a sandwich at most drive-thrus. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005VFHOOE I love this game.

Cut-Rate Gamer: PC games on the cheap

Thanks, Tek. I think that link was working, but Amazon took the page down when the sale ended. I replaced the link so that it points directly at SF 4. Yeah, I will try to double-check platforms before posting. Thanks for the advice.

    Courageous

@Patriot: I think we can agree that what makes a "good" (or "b-rated", for that matter) movie is subjective. I know lots of people who ask the same questions about a-rated horror movies. Personally, I really enjoyed Fireproof, as I have enjoyed other secular b-rated movies. On the other hand I...
