I tried it. It's pretty good, but it doesn't really feel that much different than BF2. It's kinda good, kinda bad in that way.

PSU free beta Just thought I'd give a heads up to everyone here. Supposedly during Wednesday and Thursday (10/11 and 10/12) there will be a free download of the Phantasy Star Universe beta. Apparently the beta will be free to play for the week. But it could be fun to enjoy while it's free.

I got it working. It runs pretty well on my computer. I'm thinking it'll run great when I upgrade my system this winter (going with a 4200+ X2, 1 GB of faster RAM, Radeon X1300). Thanks for the help on the DirectX deal. I had a feeling that's what it was. Also in regards to getting the BF...

For some reason I couldn't get the demo to run. I get an error message saying d3dx9_29.dll couldn't be found. I was hoping to be able to try out the demo because I'm curious as to how this game will run on my machine (Athlon 64 3200+, 1 GB RAM, Radeon 9600 w/ 256 MB).

I'm thinking if we have this server now, we should consider a fun night like say Thursdays or something. Anyone else interested?

I don't have PGR but you can be sure I'll have Forza 2 the day it comes out.

I've got Gears of War, Forza 2, and Rainbow Six Vegas on my list of must gets. Plus I might think about getting Viva Pinata some time.

I've moved to 360 games so everything I play besides Halo 2 is on that platform.

Games to get excited about I'm just curious as to what games we're all thinking/planning on buying. That way we know who else to look out for online when we pick up these games.

I guess I'm just stuck in the past. Maybe I should move to source? It's only like $20 too.

Sounds good to me. I know I'd be in. Do they have any 1.6 servers or just Source? I glanced at it all and only saw source servers.

Do we still have a TS server? Or is it not 24/7? I tried logging in (just reinstalled TS on my comp) and couldn't get anywhere.

But that's just my 2 cents.

Maybe this is just me being my random self, but maybe we should try to just have a regular CS fun night before we try getting into CAL again. I mean it would be nice to just get everyone playing together. I also think it'd be better for us as CS players (and possible future team).

So where has everyone been playing since we lost our server? I miss playing with fellow TOJ.
