That depends on if you do open bidding (in raid chat) or if you do the whisper system. Open bidding allows for counter bids like an auction, closed bidding is a one shot deal.

A DKP system can't be fixed by talking with class leads. It's an issue of math that makes the system unbalanced. Granted some people are taking items that are not the "best" for them but it's their dkp. The fact that they are willing to spend it on less than optimal items just further...
