In theory I think the boon hate (within reason) could be good. Right now, as far as I understand it, ele is easily the best profession in sPvP with guardians in at #2. Warrior is the worst. Boon removal, within reason, could do a lot to help this...though I agree it's lazy. I just don't see...

Side note...I did vote charr just to help out the underdog (undercat?), but my favorite race is actually norn. I just love their personalities and how they don't back down from a challenge, even to a fault. :)

Trek. Great idea to do that first...always feel like few are looking at bounty paths. Rush is where guildies get transformed into animals and you have to make it through an obstacle course...looks to be the most fun yet.

No clue...I can't commit to hosting anything as I'm visiting some friends and we'll likely be doing board games. If someone else wants to queue up a rush and pay the extra influence to instantly unlock, more power to them. Be aware that 10pm EDT is when the unlock finishes.

Ursen - are you changing settings in GW2, or in the nVidia control panel? nVidia has a control panel that will sometimes override your in-game settings if you let it. You can get to it by clicking the green eye icon in your system tray, bottom right hand corner of the screen by the time...

I think it's important to distinguish between military victory and nation building. The Iraq War was militarily over in less than 3 days. We took out tactical targets, and they no longer had an operating government. That is very different than the decade-long 10 year process that followed...
