Sort of. It's kind of both. I don't really know how else to explain it. It's definitely a lot faster-paced than WoW or any other MMO I've played (and I've played most of them). It does have a storyline, but it's secondary to just shooting up stuff.

We have it on an older Alienware, with new video card and more memory, but it's pretty choppy. Still, it's relatively entertaining, if a little repetitive in solo mode. I haven't tried multiplayer yet.

If you want something light or temporary, Dungeon Runners is free and sorta like a 3D version of Diablo. It is made by the same company as GW, so heavily instanced, but still very nicely done for a free MMO. It also doesn't take itself or its genre seriously at all.
