Unfortunately, while doing some partition maintenance friday gParted crashed mid-operation, and effectively destroyed my Windows 7 partition. Most of my games I do not have on disk, and my school throttles the heck out of steam and torrent downloads, so I probably won't be able to play...

I don't know if they're classified quite as metal, but Falling Up and Skillet are pretty good Christian hard rock bands. Thousand Foot Krutch is also good.

Background processes that slow down your computer, rootkits, blocking other applications it deems "unsafe," general sleeze, etc. SecuROM's got a long reputation of acting more like malware than copy-protection software. :|

Proven even further by the fact that the Windows Server equivalent to 7 is just Windows server 2008 R2. They didn't bother changing the name on that one for it because Server 2008 was actually well received. :rolleyes:

That whole thing got blown out of proportion. The proposal says that end of life counseling will be covered for those that want it, not that it is in any way mandatory or required. So if you've got a terminal disease or something and want counseling it will be covered.

I've been thinking about going to the counseling services on campus about it. It just all comes back to the anxiety thing. It's literally terrifying to go and actually talk to people.
