It costs $0.99/slot. Average server for DM is 10-12 slots. If you guys want a ut2004 server I will volunteer to admin it. I still have many of the old server mutators from the last time I ran one and there is still a free redirect. The encouraging thing is that there seems to be more peeps...

I will think on it... It is my favorite game of all time, and I really enjoy admining the server as well. Alas I highly doubt being a 9 year old game that it will draw enough activity to justify the time, energy and money. I think for now if we want to meet up there are plenty of empty servers...

Cool :). Maybe you could take us to a server running the latest UT2004 version of Jailbreak. Didn't you have a hand in it? Or was it just UT3's that you helped make?

I believe it. I had made mappacks earlier in the servers history. It took something like 4 huge zip files to hold them all.

Maybe we need to discuss this more. I am sort of an UT Chapter Leader Emeritus :p, Perhaps we could give one a trial run. I ran a mean server back in the day. Lets think more on this Tek. UT2004 has no current equal, the twitch shooters have gone by the wayside since the rise of modern consoles...

I agree, UT2004 is IMHO by far the best in the series. We have a thread going in the UT Chapter Forums about getting together for some UT2004 games HERE

I have reopened this old thread for map links and possible map packs for the server maps. DannyMeister, I have also been poking around on EpicGames forums trying to get the dodgejump mutator fixed.

I'll keep an eye out for you on Steam in the near future. Omnipotents still has a very active Onslaught server for us to make some old school Pancakes! on. :D

I was out for so long I lost my original gamespy ID... I had to change it to Capn_Tea because my old one was taken :mad:

I got my new mouse and started shaking the dust off after all this time. believe it or not I am actually able to play on my wife's old laptop with playable fps with the settings turned down. I might not be as good as I used to be, but I will be ready for next Monday :).

Much to my surprise I was looking on xfire and UT2004 is by far the most played version of UT that they track, followed by the original UT and then UT3. :confused:

Since the original Unreal Monday thread is like 40 pages long I thought I'd start a new one. I've been thinking about getting back into gaming after a long sabbatical. I have Ut3 installed on our laptop now so ill be ready to play again soon. What time have you guys been playing?
