Greetings all!
Redeemed has what we like to call "The Trifecta", or 3 guild leaders. The current GL's are myself, Gilga, and Sazul. Unfortunately Gilga was tragically killed by his new wife, and will soon be on the show "Snapped". (We assume this to be true, but have no facts whatsoever.) Sazul has been unable to play because Arakk has given him too many chores. (OK, that's not true either, but his new job is keeping him super busy!) I am the lone GL at the moment. I've been GL for like 1.5 years, which is way over my term! Some people think I'm trying to go for a life term as a solo dictator, and I had both of the other GL's whacked... You will never know...
So here's the deal. I'm concerned about holding another GL nomination. It ends up turning into a popularity contest, and with Warhammer coming out in less than a month, there is a good chance someone who was nominated would be spending significantly less time in wow because they went to War.
After seeking the wisdom of the ages... (From old man Icthus) He suggested I pick 5-10 people, both officers and members, and ask them who they thought we should nominate. After asking my advisors, two names kept coming up, Jadoron and Shadowbill.
As many of you know, Jad is one of our spiritual officers, and has been one of the people responsible for our bible studies. Shadowbill will be a new officer, but i'm confident he'll do a fantastic job. He is going into full time ministry with Campus Crusade. I'm excited to serve with Shadowbill and Jad. They are both solid people and are committed to this little guild called <Redeemed> (And when I say "little" i mean the biggest guild on Stonemaul...)
Jad and Shadowbill will have 4 months to hold elections for my position. (They are welcome to do it sooner if they want to end my rein of terror!)
So I guess this is the "speak now or forever hold your peace" part... If anyone has major concerns about either of the nominees, please do not post here, but send me a PM. I'm not looking for stuff like "Well one time in deadmines Jadoron got greedy and took "cookies tenderizer" for his 70 pally when i needed it on my level 19..." But if you have first hand knowledge that Jadoron killed his neighbors dog, I’d like to hear about that...
Thanks again to those of you who let me bug you while i was hunting down nominees. And thanks to the rest of you who put up with me for the past 2 years! And thanks to Icthus and his sage wisdom. And thanks to those of you who send me gems to cut and include a tip. And thanks to A Team for my bear mount. And thanks to YOUR BUMMED for always coming back for more even after I’ve melted your face time after time, and a special thanks to Zehra of YOUR BUMMED, who I must have killed 25 times last night, and to the rest of the horde who took three quarters of a MILLION damage from me alone last night.
