Hiya peeps,

I guess I am one of the people that is running for Co-GL and I am suppose to make a leet speech. First of all I am not good at talking hence my post count. I joined toj back in 2006 and was in both Redeemed and Sanctification. This being such a big guild there probably are peeps that really don't know me unless they raid...so here is my campaign.

First of all, my running mates are all great peeps and anyone of us deserves to be Co-GL.

Secondly, if I were Co-GL I would be there firstly for leadership and helping other guildies in the times that they need someone to stand by them and help them out with in game or out of game problems. I would hope that even if I do not get the position that people will still think of me this way and I believe I am always a very easily approachable guy. There is not much in the guild that I would change because we really do have great leadership but I would like to see more activities happening with larger groups than just raiding. I remember one of the first raids I did in redeemed was not an instance but a raid on a horde city and it was really fun to see all the lowbies having fun with the 60s. I would like to see more activities like that and would help anyone promote them in game and outside game.

Thirdly, I want to keep intact the family friendly christian environment. I would help to keep this standard going so that the game can be enjoyable by everyone in the guild.

Lastly, I want to help bring more people closer together in game to enjoy fellowship with each other.

I hope these points will help in your decision on who to vote for in the coming election and I hope I can be as good a Co-GL as Meli and all other previous ones.

Your friend,
Randy aka Sazul

Hello Redeemed;

Wow in keeping with true Redeemed fashion this is a Surprise. As I look at the list of people I am with I realize a few things. First it is truly an honor to be among them. For the time that I have been in Redeemed they have been the go to people for a wide variety of things. The Second: I have been in the guild now for about a year, the shortest I believe, which means the people that have been nominated with me know the ins and outs of Redeemed more than I do. In the time that I have been in the guild I have had an awesome experience. This is my first online game, and everyone I have dealt with in the guild has been very helpful and patient when it came to learning the ins and outs of the game… I am still learning. What I have enjoyed about this guild is the opportunity I have had to connect with a group of people and over time get to know them, things about them, and their families. I never would have thought I would be able to do such a thing through a game. I have had the opportunity to talk with many of you help some with issues you may be going through or just listen to you blow off steam, the funny thing is many of you have done the same thing for me.

If I were to be your guy’s choice for Co-Guild Leader I would continue to work to ensure that Redeemed continues to be the welcoming guild that I know it to be, a place where we as Christians can come in fellowship and have a good time, a place where our actions, thoughts and words are encouraging to others and glorifying to God. I would continue as the leaders in the past to make this guild, a guild for all types of players. From the most casual of player, to the most serious progressive raider, they always have and always would have a home in this guild. I would continue to work with all the raid leaders and class leaders to help Redeemed’s continued progression thorough end game content, and ensure that we ensure that it is open to all those willing to put forth effort in learning and working as a raid team. Raids are fun but everyone should have the opportunity to experience them (not saying that you won’t have to work to get there.)

The past leaders of the guild have done an awesome job, and I would only hope that whoever is chosen can fill their shoes.

I hope this is of some help… I am really bad at this stuff. Thanks for your time

Hello all!!!

Well, thank you for considering me for Co-GL. I agree that all of the peeps running would be amazing with the role.

For me, I’d like to see 3 things happen in this coming year.

1. More of an emphasis on the spiritual side of our guild. We’re called to be different and set an example. And in some aspects we are doing this very well, but not so well in others.

I would love to see a prayer team set up that anyone could send in game mail to with their requests. And also for a channel to be open for you to discuss questions, politics, social issues, etc. in a non-threatening place.

2. More events for everyone to be involved in. We have an amazing team of Raiders, some of the best on Stonemaul imo, but it’s easy for non-raiders to feel left out sometimes.

3. Continue what all of you are doing to make Redeemed a great place for fellowship, support, that is welcoming and a blast. This guild is really the only reason I still play this game, and I’m sure it may be that way for many of you.

I hope this helps for you to know me a little bit more as well as hopes for Redeemed.

You Rock!!!

Egad, I'm late to the party! I catch the flu and the world passes me by.

First: a little about me.
I joined the Team Eternity community in late summer '06 ... because the MC raid needed druids (see, some truths never change...). I joined Sanctification the night the team took down Rag for the first time, and then six months later had the great privilege to work with a lot of really good people who accomplished something even harder by bringing Sanctification and Redeemed back together into one guild. For about the last six months, I've been the guild bank ... which after in-game Guild Vaults were introduced became "Guild Janitor." I'm getting married in 3 weeks ... and my fiancee seriously questions why anyone above 9 would ever want to play computer games (and kids 9 and below only get a pass if it's raining outside). Redeemed means a lot to me and I have been truly blessed to be a part of it and to join in fellowship with all of you.

Second ... like everyone's said, you can't go wrong with any of these nominees.
Let me put in my personal plug for each of them:

Sazul: I have known the longest; he has been a rock to the community for as long as I have been around. When a series of unexpected events led to Saz being the Thunderfury bearer for our raiders, I don't think we could have anyone (except for SamJ who had the bad luck to miss the ONE raid when the binding finally dropped) better flashing that thing around IF and showing it off for us. Sazul's the kind of guy who arranges surgery around raids ... who leads by action and example ... and who has done a lot to help many of us in the game. And he's also a nice Central Time Zone representative for our perhaps overly West Coasty leadership team. And plus Arakk is always there to keep him in line. Sazul would be a fantastic co-GL.

Jadoron: I first got to know when he was a newb pally in the guild and kept my filling Redvault bags with all of the JC stuff he was cranking. I think I tried to tell him "you're level 20, you don't need to send stuff to the guild bank" but he never stopped. Now he regulary whoops me and the rest of the healers in raids and it's hard to imagine him not being a part of things. Jadoron would be a fantastic co-GL.

Shagz: I don't know nearly as well ... I just know that it seems like every time I log on he's on either ripping up the DPS in a raid or helping some group with some instance or another. He also sent a ton of stuff to the guild bank. Shagz, like Jadoron, has the huge plus of being part of the Los Gatos team ... there are a few physical locations in North America that provide real-life glue that hold our virtual community together, and Los Gatos is certainly one of them. Shagz would be a fantastic co-GL.

It's safe to say that none of us will ever be able to fill Meli's shoes ... if for no other reason than because we don't have wittle bitty girl feet. Thanks Meli!

Third: What does Redeemed need? (imho)
I can't state it better than my fellow nominees: to sustain and reenergize the spiritual and hospitable side that makes us different than any other guild. For there to be a place for anyone wanting to be part of our Christian community, whether you just started playing or transferred in some 1337 toon, whether you want to raid, PvP, or just hang out, whether you're 14, 41, or 141. This is something that I vouch matters a lot to all officers, but it's a tough nut to crack: in a way, the multi-day-raid, never-ending-rep-grind, constantly moving-goal-posts that Blizz brought to the game with TBC ... things that made the "game" great ... make it really tough to sustain the "non-game" guild fellowship activities. I know these three other guys will figure out a way to make it happen.

Fourth: Vote for one of the other guys!
I will always drop walls of text on the guild, sweep out the guild bank, and produce overly complex raid analysis charts ... at least as long as you all let me. And I'll do my best to carry out whatever responsibilities that you ask me to carry. But I'll always be a casual gamer and probably even more so post-marriage ... and I think the other three guys would do a fabulous job of bringing some new ideas to some of these issues that we've all wanted to do better on for some time.

Hooray for Redeemed! Anyone who's actually read this far, if you send me an in-game mail with the subject "Treedeemed Rocks!" I'll send you 5 gold. From Gilga, not Redvault!
