Update - Thursday, November 10

Improved the character name and guild name entry dialogs.

Improved AI so that henchmen and monsters can now detect and flee from area-effect damage spells.

Improved AI so that monsters will eventually stop chasing fleeing players.

Slightly reduced the power of the Doppelganger creature.

Fixed a bug which could cause certain animated ground cover to not be animated.

Fixed a bug which could cause two copies of Gwen to appear in pre-searing Ascalon.

Fixed a bug with certain enemies not attacking players in the Gates of Kryta mission.

Fixed an exploit which could allow players to create PvP characters with invalid armor. Thanks to Derek Ravenclaw for reporting this.



That improved AI should be interesting... haven't played since they updated last night - has anyone noticed the difference? It may make killing a group of mobs more difficult (*puts Barrage away and tries to think of something else to use...). I am thankful that I won't get chased down for miles though - I hope. :D

Definitely couldn't handle more than 1 Gwen! Yikes!! :eek:
 
Hmm after update I was able to Ascend a little easier or maybe I was just lucky I failed 20 plus times with my Necro and than after update beat it first try lol
 
Now my lvl 3 pre-sear won't be maliciously murdered by maniacal monkeys! (grawl) Try saying THAT ten times fast! (evil face)
 
If there is ANY AoE, the mobs will run like headless chickens...and then henchies will chase after them like headless chickens, into swamp water, and the party dies >:eek:

I seriously think that this new change is going to stay like this...there's at least one 50 page thread slamming it on gwonline.net...lol...
 
Except they run from small rocks, then run back into them, then back out...and all the while they run too far....so much running...

Easier battles, for the most part, but longer and more annoying...
