yeah that's m$ , I like the other story about updating to vista from xp. I didn't know it would disable your current key for xp. Thats something I'll surely remember when it comes time to update. I might need my key to get another computer running.

Or just wait 10 when the new version of windows is supposed to come out. The one with no backwards compatibility.

backwards compatibility is one of the design flaws holding windows back. I would love for them to truly re-write a new operating from ground zero..

nah..dual-boot. I run windows and linux on this machine right here. if i wanted to i could run vista in a triple-boot config..
