Ugh, Account Hacked

Hey guys,

I am working on the security of my account, but from the looks of the armory all my stuff is gone. :(

I think that puts the nail in my Aion Coffin. I may be on just a bit for damage control, but I am canceling my sub.

The only places I have been are the homesite and aionsource.com. I am not quite sure how my account was comprised yet, but I caution everyone.

I still have a WoW account that has been gathering dust. Anyone play from within the CGA? I may be in the mood for a server transfer.

I'll be around.

I have a few level 80 characters in WoW, but my sub is inactive right now.
 
check your machine. Most times password get compromised form trojans that are silently on your machine watching your keystrokes...unless you sued a weak password then it's jsut a matter of time before it gets compromised.
 
Thanks. All in all it could be worse. They were botting out my Gladiator so he got two levels out of the deal. :eek:

I'll see how it goes after the violated feeling starts to go away.
 
Hmm, after its all settled maybe do a virus check and redo you passwords on you NC soft account.. we need peeps to stay;;;
 
That bites. Make sure you use a strong pass. Once you know your account is secure, let us know an we will help you get armored back up.

Run these on your comp - It's a cut an paste of a larger virus removal notepad I have.

Keep this around, use the immunization.
But Do NOT install the "Teatimer" it will drive you nuts.

6th: A-square Free

7th: Bitdefender (select the 30day trial)
