Abba San

Legacy of Elijah [LoE] - Proud Grandfather
Then Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve disciples, went to the leading priests to arrange to betray Jesus to them. They were delighted when they heard why he had come, and they promised to give him money. So he began looking for an opportunity to betray Jesus. Mark 14:10-11 (NLT)

We know this is what happened way back when...

It is so easy to point a finger at Judas or, for that matter, at Peter.

But how many of us - if we think we can get a little gain in the struggles of life - are not "looking for an opportunity to betray Jesus" in our own lives?

And still...he died for us.

Today's been a pretty good day for me... and yet if I think about the sin in my life, I realize that I've probably betrayed Jesus more times than I care to admit.

We betray Him when we fear to leave the Status Quo, this is what is hitting me today on Good Friday. Thanks for the verse Abba.
