Always wondered.... the rumor is that 800x600 allows more hits...

I am all over the place on this one. I spend most of my time at 1024x768 but I also play in 800x600. I think I'll try 1600x1200 here soon though just to say I've done it.

I play on 1280x960, but it's not there so I voted for 1280x1024...

I always found it really hard to aim with a lower resolution... Just me I guess ..

Don't forget monitor size, that goes hand-in-hand with resolution. I play at 1024x768 on a 21 inch.

but that's only because that's as high as I can go with still keeping my fps in the double digits. Windows res is 1024x768

just switched to 1024*768 in cs ... it's worth it

i hate vsync ..with vsync on i only get 60fps max ... but with it off i get 99fps

... with it off the walls look all funny when i run across them
