While you're waiting for 2.5 to go live, you can always roll a toon on the Public Test Server. It's a fun way to explore Asmodae to prepare you for rifting into various Asmodian areas. You can have both Elyos and Asmodian on the same server. There is a huge XP boost. I think it took me an hour or two to get to level 20 on a Chanter I rolled.
