I've got Deus Ex 2 Now, and i've been playing it
on 800x600 Resolution with some detail settings
tweaked and it run's well with a little bit of
jerkiness. I normally play games in 1024x768
resolution.
Its supposed to be good, and once I get a new gfx card, Ill get it. Trying to be better then the original is hard tho, especially when its dx1, a game most people rank with HL, starcraft, diablo, etc....(started writing the list and realized it was gonna be a bit longer then I felt like sitting here writing).
Deus Ex 1 was a LOT better, in my opinion. This game, basically, has the feel as though they were trying to emulate the lighting engines of future games like Doom 3 and HL2...although it's been in development for much longer. And you have to admit, throwing objects around and having realtime shadows following them is pretty cool. I'm not sure it's worth the game running as slow as it does. I mean, it looks good, but not THAT good.
