Nahum 1:7
"The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him."

While it may be from one of the lesser known books, this is a very good verse to commit to memory for almost any time or situation.
 
Amen to that! I love the way the Message puts it:

God is good, a hiding place in tough times. He recognizes and welcomes anyone looking for help. Nahum 1:7 (MSG)

Thaqt is how I feel so much of the time. Thanks for the verse.
