Financial needs...please pray

They exist.

You won't find current shows or major studio movies. So if that's what you are into I'd recommend Netflix and Hulu as suggested. We haven't had cable ...well ever and can't imagine why we would ever need it. The only time I wish we had TV is during the Super Bowl. There really isn't a good way to watch live sports online yet.

I apologize for jumping to conclusions. The experience I have had in the past with torrents has lead me to believe that their primary use is to enable illegal file sharing.

Super Y etc are on PBS.....which is free. So as long as you have the updated antenna(?) from when they changed everything your kids should be able to get educational programs in the morning. PBS tends to have more adult programing later.

Netflix has all kinds of things and tons of Dora, Blues Clues, and the like. We tend to only let our young one watch more educational programs.

We have gone back and forth about having or not having cable. We changed to Direct TV to get rid of comcast, but not sure how great that is except we can dvr and watch whenever.

We can also watch programs by connecting the laptop to the TV. Praying for your direction.......honestly we should be having this discussion in another area and just uplifting you in prayer here.

Blessings and Hugs, "Angel"

Litsafalda - thanks for the thoughts...I had forgotten about having the "rabbit" ears we have, that did pick up the local stations including PBS, and others.
