Where can I find confirmation type info on other MMOs?

Christian Guilds List Manager
Hey, everyone! Tek7 has recently asked me if I can expand the current "list of Christian WoW guilds" into a "list of Christian MMO/online game guilds, clans, factions, et al."

Unfortunately for me, I've spent the last 5 years in what is more-or-less of a WoW bubble. I do know that other games (Aion, EVE, LoTRO, EQ2, WAR, GW, etc) exist, but I'm completely out of the loop on the resources that players of those games use in order to keep tabs on each other.

Here's what I mean: in order to keep the current WoW list up to date, I use www.wowarmory.com to look up Christian guilds, see if they are still active, and figure out their guild leader's character name. If the guild does not provide a contact website, I provide a link to wowarmory.com.

In addition, in order to give timezones and realm types for each guild, I consult a page on www.wowwiki.com.

I'd like to maintain the same level of quality when I'm adding games like Aion and LoTRO to the mix, but I don't know where to find the resources. So, please help me out with this one. :)

For Guild Wars there's nothing like the Armory where it's updated. But in the Official Guild Wars Wiki there is a list of guilds and you can type in guilds and find their wiki page which should link to websites and forums if they have it.

There is one Christian alliance in EVE that I know of, Ark of the Covenant <COV> has 12 corps, and probably contains the vast majority (if not all) of the officially Christian corporations in the game. Unfortunately I can't find a site for the alliance (likely there isn't one), and the likelihood individual corporation websites would be spotty at best.

There is nothing like wowarmory for EVE, and there would be chaos of epic proportions if CCP even mentioned wanting to do something like that.

Alright, I'm going to need a wee bit more information:

How are these games set up? I know EVE has only one server, whereas WoW has different Realm Types, time zones, etc.

Particularly at this point, I'm interested in Aion, GW, and EVE.

GW only has one server. You don't need to go into the Europe realm or anything to talk to Europe people. If you want to play with them, you'll have to go into a European district, but that has no significance if you're just trying to locate guilds.

EVE isn't sharded at all, (and to be technical there isn't any MMO out there that runs on only one server) so most people look for a corporation that is a.) in their timezone (EU players tend join EU corps for example), b.)does what they want to do, and c.) has the right kind of people for them (militaristic dictatorship, laid back easygoing missioners, etc.).

The corporations are a tight knit community, where the friendships formed in one can last long beyond the corp itself (which can occasionally meet explosive ends). And the corps in an alliance form their own close political community (corps often follow others into a new/different alliance following a breakup, an example would be IT Alliance whose core is a group of corps that were formerly part of BoB), and large alliances are political powerblocks...
