34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Worry is bad for you. Period. Worrying about tomorrow, or what if I can't make the rent next week. Don't you have enough to worry about today? Why borrow trouble? God has you in the palm of his hand. (Or under his feathers in Psalm 91:4)

Worry is counter productive to living for Christ. Instead we should be focused in the here and now, what can I do in the next minute for Christ. If we get caught up in our own worries, how can we notice the hurt in the other people we are supposed to meet and greet for Christ?
