Just kidding. The trailer looks fantastic. I have no idea what the gameplay would be like, but I'm glad that Valve is still occasionally working to provide new content for TF2--a game that's 8 years old!

TF2 Maps did a Merc VS Aliens mapping contest a while back which included the flying saucer model. The video also credits them. Considering the video is new and none of the TF2 characters spoke (probably in game sound files were used) I think this is a Valve approved community update. So I'm guessing new content YAY

Note the winner of the Merc VS Aliens contest was the map koth probed which some may remember playing on our server. The contest also had some other decent maps which don't get lot of play but they've had since November to improve on them .
