I've played LoL since S1, I love the simplicity of the gameplay, the teamfights, and the items.
I was very excited when Valve announced DOTA 2, got into the beta and ended up hating the game due to the drastic amount of utility items and such.
LoL just decided they want to do a "do over" and totally remake the core mechanics of items and the stats to become more like DOTA.
I am most likely done playing this for some time, onward to SMITE....
Anyone else frustrated with this overhaul of a game that wasn't really broken?
 
Old builds still work great, they just added items to add more variety to the game. I think the changes were long over due. I've played both Dota 2 and League for over a year now and I still love League.

Plus, the patch just came out. You gotta give them a chance to make some tweaks :p
