Rare World Bosses/Spawns/Pets in Cataclysm

Is there interest guild wide in taking down rare spawns? I've just never experienced this sort of thing within the guild but I am definitely interested if someone shouts out when they do see a rare. Do we form a raid group to be able to accomplish these?

Take last night ... ok very early this morning, I came across Garr - rare elite ?? level boss. Due to the whole guild slacking off and sleeping (imagine that at 4:00 a.m. on New Years), all I could do is fly above his head. However, if we had bodies on, we could pull 5 to 10 ppl together to bring him down. Another example is the killer whale thingy in Vash.
