MANDATORY PRIEST MODS FOR RAIDING
In order to raid, you must have the following add-ons installed. They all work, as intended, upon installation. Omen, oRA2, Bigwigs and Quartz are all easily installed using the wow ace updater. Deadly boss mods can be found at [URL="http://www.deadlybossmods.com"]www.deadlybossmods.com

Omen: Available via wow ace updater. This is the standard threat meter we use in raiding. It comes out of the box ready to use, you may have to move it to the side and a bit out of your way when it first activates in your first group after installing it. Hint on using this add-on: The tank should be at the top of the list, not you.

oRA2: Raid organizer that provides raid leaders support in assisting you on doing your job. Everybody who has it enjoys the benefits of having tank and their targets set, the ability to set up as many player targets you want for healing assignments, comes with a rez monitor that will let you know who is rezing whom and other, known only to the RL benefits. It is also available from the wow ace updater program.

Bigwigs or Deadly Boss Mods: Having one of these installed and activated is also mandatory. It provides alerts and timers on boss abilities.

NICE TO HAVES BUT NOT NECESSARY

Quartz: Replacement casting bar that takes into account your ever changing latency. This addon calculates the lag at the start of your current cast and adjusts itself so you can visually seen when you can start casting that next, all important heal that will save the tanks life and bring success to the raid or cast mindblast to bring your awe defying decimating power down upon the boss.

Grid: Provides a grid of all the players in the current raid\party. Can be configured to tell you who is in need of what buffs, who needs cleansing, who needs healing and if somebody is the target of another persons heal.

Decursive: Provides a clickable window of people who have debuffs that you are able to dispel.

Clique: Assigns casting of spells to your mouse buttons.

Any other add-ons are at your discretion. Just follow this rule:

DO NOT SHOW UP TO A RAID FIGURING YOU CAN CONFIGURE AN ADDON IN 5 MINUTES. BE SURE ALL ADDONS ARE INSTALLED AND WORKING AS INTENDED LONG BEFORE YOU ARE INVITED. IF YOU HAVE ANY MISBEHAVING ADDONS (THAT ARE NOT MANDATORY), REMOVE THEM AND TINKER WITH THEM AFTER THE RAID.

Healing meters for personal tracking of performance is ok, but posting them in /raid, /party, /say or /general is not necessary. At one time, we had a channel called /redmeters where people were free to spam meters to their hearts content.

Suggestions, as always, are welcome but not necessarily always acted upon.

Healbot hasn't been updated for over a year, no gaurantee that it would not be without major bugs.
