Right now I have an Imp. I like the pandas, they rule the world of warcraft. I just want to pick one up and give it a squeeze, especially when I see one sleeping. awwhh!!

Question for you WoW guru's, is all I need for a pet the code in the Collectors edition? Or what?

It's tied to your account if you sign up with a collectors edition cd key every character you make will have an item to pick your pet bound to you on creation.

Every character?  Are you sure? That is so cool!

Cory, you can get rabbits.  Rabbits are equally cute, and by far my favorite 'normal' pet in the game - I'll show you where to get one.

Also, there are mechanical squirrels, birds, parrots, cockroaches (horde only I think), and several others.  No chicken or cows though!
 
Then you will have to show your young padawon.



btw...I don't have the Collectors edition, yet.  When I do, I wonder what can be done to shut down the old accounts so I can sell the non-CE version and the new owners can get their 30days fee.

During my search for a CE version, I found a store that had 17 today, online purchase only. Yesterday they had zer0 So if I put the order in on time...I should be getting a CE version pretty quick.
 
Um, if it could be arranged I think it would be very tough to do. Instead, I'd just promise the buyer to pay for their one month subscription which you would get for free. If you ordered online, would you be able to get it very soon, or would it have to be mailed to you?
 
I am hoping very soon. The retailer is futureshop Canada, I've purchased from them before. I paid a bit extra to get it via Puralator Air. But it hasn't been shipped yet. When I look at the order status, it says its "not yet shippable" What ever that means. Hopefully it doesn't mean I missed them

My thought was I was going to sell it to my brother, so no big deal on the free month, I'd take $14.99 (Whatever that is in Canadian) off the price.
 
I read there was only 75,000 collectors editions made so hopefully they still have a couple hidden away. My local Bestbuy (off shoot fo futureshop) was sold out within an hour of release of collectors editions.
 
They took me money...they better deliver.  I think they were the last 17 in Calgary.

I would be wrong to say that. The futureshop wharehouse (the online store) would be Canada wide. So, might have been the last 17 in Canada

as far as it selling out i have seen many CE editions here in joplin and even up in Kansas city left on the shelf. had to resist the urge to buy it.
 
I'm sure they made more CE available in the US vs. Canada. But it is cheaper in Canada once you factor in the exchange rate. Even paying a few bucks more to get it shipped via air.
 
They are non combat pets, just for show. You can also get lots of other pets in game such as cats, parrots, prarie dogs, Dragon whelps, and a bunch more.
 
Gotcha, i didnt think they would give the people who bought the game early a hand in combat.
