Was planning to make the raid tonight. Then he spilled water on his laptop and it shut off. He won't be there now. Noob.
 
By the way, it's Kutluch that typed last message and this one, from my dad's computer. The laptop turns on, but the wireless card is shot I think. Brilliant, huh?
 
Sort of, only I don't put water on my plate... the water went in the keyboard, shut the computer off, and came out the bottom...
 
Something similar ruined the power connection to the motherboard on my previous lap top. And that fancy insurance I bought for it at the retailer - reneged saying it did not cover spills... I hate to sound discouraging, but liquids around laptops is not a good idea. I seriously thought about covering the keyboard and top of my current laptop with cellophane, but heat issues... Even now I am using a usb keyboard since the one on the laptop has a section that will not work. Replacement is only $13 bucks, but this setup works...
