Exhortations Week 2 - SirThom

Tek7 (Legacy)

CGA & ToJ President
Therefore encourage one another and build up one another.... - 1 Thessalonians 5:11

On July 7, my wife blessed me by posting the thread, Exhortations Week 1 - Tek7. I had planned to post a new Exhortations thread on July 14, but that date has come and gone. Still, I feel that the idea behind an Exhortations series of threads is a great one, and would rather continue the series later than not at all.

So, without further ado, I've selected SirThom for the second week of Exhortations. It was very difficult to select only one person, and I considered starting multiple threads, but as you can see, it took me long enough to just handle the one. :)

Here are a few reasons I selected SirThom for the second week of Exhortations:
  • He's invested a great deal of time, experience, and effort into serving as Christian Gamers Alliance Web Developer and Tribe of Judah Lead Web Developer.
  • He recently finished a large project: the new Tribe of Judah web site.
  • He's got mad PHP programming skills.
  • He learns very quickly.
  • His written and verbal communication skills are excellent. (Leave it to a writer to point this out.)
  • He's very patient, especially with a certain Tribe of Judah President who can always think of one more request for the web site in development. :D
  • Though I've never met SirThom in person, I have the feeling he loves his family and treats them well.
  • His heart is to help others in the community.
It's been my honor to work with SirThom and watch him mature in the years since I met him. I know he's been a blessing to me, and I trust he's been a blessing to others in the community.

So, with that, I open this thread to the community at large. If you've been blessed by SirThom in any way or have words of encouragement to speak, please post them here.

SirThom: On Monday, August 4, it will be your turn to select someone for the third week of Exhortations and post a thread encouraging them.

SirThom FTW!

He's always ready to help with any problem. I've probably PM'd him (read nagged) more than anyone else in the organization. Definitely one of the greatest assets to the community.

Thom, you are "the awesomeness," as the kids say. I believe you should also "big up yourself," and possibly consider yourself "totally gnarly" or even "bodacious."

While I am not sure I can even come close to the post above, Thank you SirThom for all of the hard work you have put in to CGA.

It's a gift. The key is to PRACTISE!

But seriously, without Thom we wouldn't be here, and I wouldn't ever thought to buy Guild Wars and stuff. He's one cool dude.
