Comprehensive Mesmer Guide

I know I've heard a lot of people who say that they want to make a Mesmer alt if for nothing other than doing portals and I personally will be making a Mesmer to play alongside my bro-in-law. While searching around for info on builds/skills/traits/etc I found this 4 (soon to be 5) part series on Mesmers. The guy is very easy to listen to and his wisdom seems sound. I've watched the first two videos, but be warned that they are LONG! Still though, if you are serious about playing a Mesmer, you may want to check it out. I've learned a lot.

I've watched through the first two, and they do have a lot of good information. I'm not sure they should have the title of "comprehensive" though, as he has a pretty strong preference for a single build. It'd be good to supplement these with reading on the Mesmer forums or other guides.
 
Though I agree with you based on just watching the first two videos, apparently video 4b is going to be the video where he delves into the varieties of different builds. He hasn't made that one yet, and it has been a month, so maybe the non-comprehensive Mesmer guide may be more appropriate :)
