A return home.

After tossing and turning a bit, Chivah sat up in bed sweating. He couldn't seem to get any sleep for some odd reason. Wait a minute. The air. It seems a bit stuffy.

Forcing his aching body to his feet, Chivah weakly descended the stairs to find the front door closed.

"Hey!" he moaned as he reached forth to open it. For the past 2 weeks, Chivah had been bedridden from a serious bug of some sort. The windows and door had been left open for the cirulation of air. But oddly enough, it had been closed. As soon as he opened the door, he felt a relief of cool air rushing in as the draft brought comfort to his feverish body.

He was about to return upstairs when a note drifted inward. Grabbing the note, he struggled up the stairs until he was again rested in bed where his recovery could continue.

"Oh look." he said joyfully. "A note from Femya."

After reading the note, a mixture of emotions flooded him. Some of the minor emotions were of sadness and jealousy. But for the most part, he was happy for her. Hopefully, she could find the happiness she was seeking, and from someone much better suited than he.

With the fever he obtained from the weather, and from the curse that he happily withdrew from Femya, Chivah packed his few belongings and prepared for the long trek back to Albion. He had done enough damage here and it was time to return home. He would always keep lady Femya in his heart and in his prayers.
