Lots of changes today. I only briefly logged on but LA is completely different, not to mention the skills/specializations are different as well. They have white wings available for a few hours on Black Lion.

I was surprised at the price for the GW2 expansion but that's similar to the expansions in GW1. Since I wanted to get more gems anyway, I sprung for the Ultimate so that brought the expansion plus the extra stuff they throw in to $39.99.

I bought the $99.99 (plus tax) Ultimate package. I was going to spend $60 anyway for more gems (4000-$50) and a character slot (800 gems = $10), so that drops the game to $39.99 with all extra stuff (I've already used the Revenant finisher a few times) vs $49.99 for just the expansion.

I'm probably going to resub next month. I just spent some $ for the GW2 expansion, otherwise I would have resub'd this month.

Thanks for sharing that, Ursen. I haven't been on the forums much. Great write up and it makes me excited for Revenant. I've got a level 20 insta boost and enough tomes saved up that he'll be level 80 soon after creation. Stability will be nice for WvW since the guardian's was nerfed.

It depends on what you like to do. If you're strictly a PvE, Dungeons, etc person, you don't need to transfer. The megaserver allows you to PvE or PvP with anyone. If you like WvW, however, you won't be able to hook up with SoR folks. I think there's a guest option that would allow WvW but I've...

He never did but his last post was on June 30th, 2014 in the 2014 fundraising drive thread. I hope everything is ok with him. I wonder if something happened or life just got in the way. Either way, he's our brother-in-Christ and we should be praying for him.
