Slave to Christ.
 Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

Philippians 4:11-13 ESV

Philippians 4:13 is one of the most misused verses in the Bible. People quote it for any number of situations, especially when it comes to sports or achieving some goal.

That is not what this is about. Reading it in context it has a completely different meaning. It is even better! No matter what is going on, no matter if it is good, or if it is bad, Christ gives us strength.

Let us be content wherever we are. In whatever we are doing. Christ gives us strength, let that be.
 
Good stuff. I pray I could learn the secret of facing plenty and hunger in my life. (Its been more of the latter and I still struggle with it.)

You know the secret... :) It's the use of that secret that gets us sometimes. :)
