Then the Lord said to Satan, "Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil." Job 1:8 (NIV)
The Message says: God said to Satan, "Have you noticed my friend Job? There's no one quite like him—honest and true to his word, totally devoted to God and hating evil." Job 1:8 (MSG)
Two things to consider:
1)Wouldn't it be great if God could say this about us?
2) God said this about Job, a guy who had more troubles in his life than most of us would want to deal with. We might even think that God hated us if we had a life like his.
