This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
Matt 26:28
Today we look at a scripture from the Book of Matthew. Jesus is reminding us that he fulfilled what was promised in the Old Testament. The blood of the new covenant which was shed for us! To forgive us of our sins. How unworthy we are of such a gift! To think the very Son of God, came to earth to suffer as he did. All for people who were before, were then and were to come. Such a hard thing to comprehend.
