Oy. Winter this year, amirite?
All 4 of our family members (@Ember, me, and both children) were sick at the same time recently. Not fun.
The older daughter has recovered from the viral croup.
The younger daughter is on day 6 of an antibiotic for an ear infection. She's been a bit touchy around the lunch hour and bedtime and has been coughing sporadically the last few days.
Ember has a sore throat and a little punkiness, but otherwise holding in there.
I left work early today because I felt like death warmed over, picked up some generic Sudafed and lunch, came home, ate, and slept for 2 hours. I'm feeling better now, but the way these things go, one earth-rumbling sneeze can take me from feeling not that bad to feeling terribad.
So please pray for a full and speedy recovery for the 3 remaining sick members of our family. I'm not sure how much vacation time I have at work, but I know that I don't want to spend it on being sick.
