Pleasantly Surprised!

Came into this game expecting the worst, and found myself really enjoying the game. Love the character customization..and the music is fantastic. I love how you can prepurchase your skills/spells just like EQ1. Seems like the game took from other MMOs. Cutscenes that remind me of FFXI, music that reminds me of Vanguard, graphics that remind me of Lotro, questing that reminds me of WoW and from what I hear PVP that is alot like DAOC.

Glad you are liking the game so much! I think the extra time NCsoft took testing out the game in the Asian market + adding a LOT more content prior to the NA release is adding to Aion's momentum. I think people still call it another L2 are probably judging it against the earlier Chinese version when it was much more 'grindy.'

I also really like the quest system and how it locates all the npc's or hotspots you need to go to. The overlay map is pretty cool too.
