Just as you cannot understand the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things.

Ecclesiastes 11:5 NLT

In my search for wisdom and in my observation of people’s burdens here on earth, I discovered that there is ceaseless activity, day and night. I realized that no one can discover everything God is doing under the sun. Not even the wisest people discover everything, no matter what they claim.

Ecclesiastes 8:16 & 17

This is one of my favorite books that is so full of wisdom and guidance that I read and reread until I am overwhelmed!

Good thing we can place our direction in the hands of Jesus, and walk bold and confident upon his promise! Can they?

Thanks for a great couple of verses. Two things came to mind as I read these:

1. I had a friend who used Ecclesiastes as a study for non-believe seekers. He found that most of them held to the 'vanities' of the book and that it helped them come to Jesus.

2. I love the phrase, 'no matter what they claim.'

Thanks again.
