I don’t really understand myself, for I want to do what is right, but I don’t do it. Instead, I do what I hate.

Romans 7:15 NLT

Good thing God understands us and loves us! Lol, I buried my sin with Christ and the bugger keeps popping out. A old schooler said I need to pile more word on the grave and wack that sin with the shovel if it sticks it's head out. Hehehe Feet's a packing and hands are stacking to a new meaning of Whack a Mole!

I have to admit, this is one of my favorite verses. It helps to remind me that even the greatest scholars and most well-known Apostles struggled. It's also a reminder that people like Luke, Paul, Peter, James, and John (among the many, many other "heroes" of the NT) are just men.

We shouldn't idolize any of them, but remember to look at Jesus.

I think the verse is a universal for all Christians honest with themselves, one of my favorites.
