I'm going to be participating in World Vision's 30 hour famine, a way to raise money and awareness for world hunger. I'm doing this with my youth group and I'm looking forward to it a lot! My personal goal is $70, enough to feed 2 kids for a month. (Or one greedy kid for 2 months, I suppose.) As a youth group we're raising $1000!
I'd really like your prayers as I've never done anything like this before. The most I've gone without food is probably like 10 hours or something. With this I'm not eating for 30! And we're serving food to homeless people before our time is up! It's going to be really hard and prayers would be most appreciated! Not just for me, but for my youth group.
