Stomach virus

I'm not sure how, but it seems I've caught a stomach virus.

I've been nauseous for the past 36 hours, I have a fever, and I feel miserable. I'm scheduled to work a one-day computer refresh assignment on Friday, but unless I'm all better tomorrow, I'll have to pass up a rare opportunity to make some money.

But I think the worst part (aside from the constant pain and discomfort) is that I can't hold my daughter.

So please pray this passes soon.

I'm on the mend and the primary symptoms are fading, but, without going into detail, the secondary symptoms are causing me considerable pain. I'm hoping to feel significantly better for my wife's first Mother's Day tomorrow.

EDIT: I said "considerable pain," but it would have been more accurate to say periodic and horrible, horrible pain.
