What is the Christian Gamers Alliance?
The Christian Gamers Alliance is a gathering of Christian gaming organizations dedicated to serving Christian gamers. We believe it is more effective to pool resources and share the workload on various projects than to repeat similar work among Christian gaming groups and web sites. The Alliance is a central hub for Christian gamers and a vehicle to promote Christian gaming organizations.
While we are an interdenominational organization, we do require member organizations to uphold certain tenets of Christianity that we deem basic and universal to all Christian denominations. These are:

The Alliance is a central hub for Christian gamers and a vehicle to promote Christian gaming organizations.
While we are an interdenominational organization, we do require member organizations to uphold certain tenets of Christianity that we deem basic and universal to all Christian denominations. These are:
- There is only one God
- Jesus Christ is God’s only Son
- None can receive salvation without accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
- The Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the inspired word of God
Requirements for Affiliation
- The executive leadership of your organization must accept the offer of membership in CGA.
- Your organization must uphold the basic tenets of Christianity, with a proclamation of Christian faith prominent on your organization's website.
- All members of an affiliate must agree with the basic tenets of Christianity. In other words, gaming groups accepting non-Christians as members are not eligible for affiliation.
Process for New Affiliates
- Add CGA link button or text link to CGA on your organization's website (preferably on the front page).
- Assign one (1) member to represent your organization in the CGA Staff Forum. This member will be the point of contact between CGA leadership and the organization's leadership.
- Subscribe at least one (1) member (can be same member as above) to the CGA staff e-mail discussion group.
- Designate at least one (1) member to be moderator for your forums (can be same member as above). This moderator must be active in the CGA Staff Forum as well. Since we share forums, situations involving violations of the CGA forums Terms of Service need to be shared between CGA affiliates. The CGA Staff Forum is used for this purpose.
- Submit monthly updates to the CGA Staff Forum, CGA President or CGA news page. This is to demonstrate that your organization is active.
- Designate at least one (1) member to post information to the CGA news page (can be same member as above).
- Submit the following information to CGA for inclusion in the CGA affiliate directory: name of affiliate, URL, short description, group point of contact, and a point of contact e-mail address.
Optional Tasks
- Web site affiliates may submit an icon (to be used as a link button) for inclusion on the next CGA front page. This icon should be a maximum size of 88x31 pixels.
- Affiliates can supply the CGA Forums Administrator with a vBulletin skin for the forums.
